In a tweet released on Sunday, January 2, El Salvador President Nayib Bukele has shared his thoughts regarding the potential price of Bitcoin during 2022. Additionally, President Bukele revealed many other expectations for this digital asset during the new year. For example, the president expects to see more Bitcoin adoption during the year.
He believes that Bitcoin will become legal tender in at least two more countries. These predictions could be one of the main reasons his government has recently purchased more Bitcoin.
